A story that's close to our hearts.
Our 6th love story is especially close to our hearts as it's the story of our owner Sean and his fiancé Mary. Sean asked Mary to marry him in September 2019 whilst walking, overlooking the beautiful Loughrigg Fell in the heart of the Lake District.
The picture below was genuinely the first picture they took after Mary said YES!
Mary and Sean like to think the instant ray of light from the sun was a seal of approval.
Mary said “You can see I was totally surprised by the proposal, hence the lack of nail varnish!”
After they continued on their walk, they were clearly elated and wanted to celebrate back at the hotel they were staying at with champagne.
The lovely Sharrow Bay, on the shores of Lake Ullswater was the perfect setting after a surprise proposal from Sean.
Mary said “The ring feels extremely special as Sean designed the ring for me, hand selected the brilliant cut diamond & was then created by his talented goldsmith Nic, in their very own workshop…. I am a very lucky girl!"
