2021 is an important year for us here at Josephs. It is our 20th year in business and we wanted to celebrate by doing what we excel in; designing and creating bespoke diamond jewellery. We’ve been busy working behind the scenes for a while, creating and perfecting a brand new range for you. Our 20th anniversary ‘ADDITIONS’ range will include four seasonal collections this year.
The inspiration for our inaugural collection came from water and nature. Sean, the owner of Josephs said that his inspiration nearly always comes from nature; whether it is walking through the forest, or trail running over a lakeland fell. Water is everywhere, and the new ‘Cascade’ collection represents water cascading through rocks and forming effervescent pools were it lands.
The exquisite design of this bespoke collection, encapsulates the diamond in a seamless circular setting emulating pools of water that a claw setting simply cannot capture. The purity of water cascading in simple organic groupings, vary in sizes as nature intended, which is synonymous with the purity of diamonds.
Using odd numbers and different sizes of diamonds is a golden rule when putting pencil to paper when designing jewellery. The ‘Cascade’ collection is not only visually captivating but also looks equally desirable in both white and yellow gold. The contrast of the yellow metal encircling the brilliant white diamonds is a particular favourite of Sean’s. When remodelling inherited sentimental jewellery, we are nearly always presented with an eclectic mix of gold and precious stones which our Cascade design lends itself to beautifully.
