If you're following us on social media, you will be aware that we are celebrating our 18th year in business in Ormskirk this year; and back in April (our birthday month), we launched a campaign that on the 18th day of every month at 18:00 we would announce something special to mark the occasion. We have have been creating a real buzz and engaging with lots of our customers throughout this campaign and feel as though it is the right time to launch something we are very excited and proud of!
A limited edition 'Clock Tower' silver brooch has been created by Nic our in-house goldsmith and Sean the owner of Josephs, and together they have spent many hours perfecting the design.
The story behind the brooch:
We at Josephs knew we wanted to highlight our success in Ormskirk, being our home town and wanted to create a piece of jewellery that would be accessible to many people. We also wanted it to be exclusive and sentimental to Ormskirk.
The Clock Tower is something we not only see as an Ormskirk icon, but we use as a reference to people visiting us from out of town. We also have a great view of the clock tower everyday. Moreover, the most heart warming connection we have with this iconic monument, is that many of our customers have love stories of first meeting there.
We considered many design ideas in the development of the brooch, and after creating various CAD images and models we are very proud to launch our final design. The brooch has been crafted in sterling silver and is priced at £95, and it can also be made in a variety of precious metals including Gold and Platinum.
