One of the most satisfying parts of our job as fine jewellers is creating a bespoke piece of jewellery for somebody. Turning their dreams into reality is very rewarding and we are passionate about making sure our customers get what they want and more.
We would like to share with you a recent piece of jewellery design we carried out for one lovely customer. In the images below you will see two images of rings that look relatively similar to each other. The bottom one is of a costume ring the customer owns and she loved the design. She dreamed of turning this ring into a Diamond version, so that she could cherish it forever.
We created a 2 stone pear shape Diamond crossover 18ct white and yellow gold ring (the top ring on the image above). The lady also wanted it shaped so that she could wear it with her Wedding ring. First we discussed her requirements and then set to designing on our CAD system (Computer Aided Design), to make sure it would work with her Wedding ring. Below are some images from this process.
After we have drawn the ring design and proportions on the computer, a wax version of the ring is created.
The ring we have made for the customer sits perfectly with her Wedding ring, allowing her to wear the ring everyday.
